The objective of Fire
Equipment Service Company (FESCO) is to provide superior
services, products, innovations and solutions. It is our goal to
satisfy customer needs and improve the quality of life safety and
property protection. We strive to provide our associates with

As a privately held company,
independently owned and operated, we are able to offer better
customer service and respond more quickly to individual customer
needs. We are able to offer personalized and customized services
based on specific customer needs. We are able to assign individuals
dedicated to your account.
Having been in the fire protection
business since 1952, management alone brings over 100 years of
combined experience to the table for your consideration. We sell,
service, inspect and design all types of fire extinguishing
equipment and systems, everything from portable fire extinguishers
to high-rise or plant-wide evacuation systems.
Our response time to emergency
service calls is unsurpassed by any of our competitors.
We represent a wide variety of
manufacturers. We are trained on many manufacturers products and
have direct relations with those manufacturers as opposed to
equipment manufacturers with service departments who can only
promote, source and train on a limited amount of product.
Education
Our company is licensed by the
State of Kentucky to design, install and maintain all types of clean
agent fire suppression systems, including chemical range hood
systems. Our fire alarm technicians are also licensed by the State
of Kentucky to perform periodic fire detection system inspections.
We have been certified by Underwriters Laboratory to install fire
detection and control systems on a project basis. Not only do we
sell UL Listed equipment but we are also able to install complete UL
list systems and provide UL Listed monitoring station services. Our
technicians are also certified by NICET (National Institute for
Certified Engineering Technologies). FESCO technicians are also
factory trained.
NICET -
National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies
All employees are in various stages
of the National Institute for Certification in Engineering
Technologies (NICET) certification in the fields of Special
Hazards and Fire Alarm. NICET regularly brings together industry
leaders and subject matter experts to identify industry needs and
design and maintain technician certification programs that promote
technical knowledge and skills. The resulting programs measure the
competency of and layout career paths for engineering technicians
and technologists and supply industries and employers with a more
highly skilled workforce. Further, the Institute promotes the
continuing professional development of its certified technicians and
technologists through a recertification process that emphasizes
updated skills and state-of-the-art knowledge. Local and state
governments rely on NICET certification to measure the
qualifications of their workforce. NICET is a non-profit division of
the National Society of Professional Engineers.
